At every wedding, the focus is of course on the bride and groom – and rightly so! However, you do have to think about your guests, and the structure of their day. There’s usually an awful lot of waiting around and mingling for guests and this is expected, but you can’t have them waiting around too long.
After the wedding, there’s the photography and the reception drinks, then there’s usually more photos before people are seated. This is then followed by the speeches and then comes the food, so it can feel like quite a long day. A good wedding planner will pay attention to detail, and they’ll make sure every visitor is well looked after.
The evening usually flows quite nicely after the food, and when the first dance is over it’s time for people to let their hair down. So even though it’s an incredibly long, nerve-wracking day for the bride and groom, the guests are also important, and that’s why it’s important to make sure the day should be nicely organised.
