However, planning such an event isn’t easy and there are things you will need to consider.
Destination – Is It safe and it must have resources not only to accommodate you but all of your guests. Check for travel warnings, political issues and health issues, even if you are not deterred you will need to inform all of your guests.
Consider guest accommodations – while you won’t be expected to cover the cost of your guest’s accommodations it is thoughtful to consider a range of budgets and offer recommendations for accommodation to suit.
Go Local – incorporate local flowers and serve local specialities to cut costs. Embrace everything on offer from your destination.
Visit in advance – See your venue at least once before booking. Ideally, a second time 3-4 months before to finalise details. If this isn’t possible then arrive at least 5 days early.
