Our Take on Budget Weddings

Not everybody wants a ‘fancy schmancy’ wedding, and that’s fine but it doesn’t mean you have to stick to a low budget. Even if you don’t want an intricate ice sculpture or 500 guests, you can still splash out a little and make the day a terrific one for your small number of friends and family members.

The problem with budget weddings is that they can leave you with regrets as you get older. You may look back at your wedding photos and ask yourself, “what were we thinking?” And you can’t turn back the clock, so it may have been better to wait, save some money and make the wedding a bit more special.

The more money you spend on a wedding, the more possibilities there are. The cars you turn up in could be classy rather than cruddy, while the food will taste better, the decorations will be prettier and the organisers will prove to be better. Money can’t buy you love, but it can certainly buy you a good wedding!
