When planning your wedding, you have probably come across articles that talk about wedding favours, how to make them match your theme, what to buy, how much to spend etc. But the truth is they are not essential to your wedding or necessary. If you are on a tight budget, don’t feel compelled to spend money on something that either lasts 5 seconds or is put in the trash when the guests get home.
Don’t feel like you HAVE to provide a small favour gift as you are already treating the guests to a day or evening of fun, laughter, friendship and dancing. Instead, why not give to a local charity and let the guests know during the speech.
If you feel you need to favour, why not choose something small and edible like a cookie or some chocolate.
